You May Know The Pattern. You Just Don’t Know How to Change It.
Understanding a pattern is one thing. Changing it is another. Therapy can help you understand what keeps the pattern going and develop new ways of thinking, feeling, and responding.
I draw from different therapeutic approaches depending on what we’re trying to understand and what you need help changing.
The Same Things Don’t Have to Keep Repeating.
The same reactions. The same relationship dynamics. The same fears. The same ways of getting stuck. Understanding why they keep happening can help you recognize them sooner, respond differently, and change what comes next.

What we don’t understand can keep repeating. Therapy helps you recognize the pattern, understand what’s driving it, and choose what happens next.
Getting started takes just 3 simple steps.
What makes therapy with me different
I don't just ask what's wrong.
I'm curious about why.
Many people come to therapy with the same issues showing up in different areas of their life. I take a deeper, more comprehensive approach so we can understand the bigger picture and create meaningful, lasting change.
I Look Beneath
the Surface
I'm interested in more than what is happening. Together, we explore the experiences, beliefs, needs, and past events that may be influencing your current thoughts, emotions, and behaviours.
I Notice Patterns
The same reactions, relationships, fears, and coping strategies often show up in different forms. I help you recognize these patterns so we can understand what keeps repeating and why.
I Understand
Your Context
Culture, family, faith, identity, expectations, and community all shape how we experience the world. Therapy with me makes room for your background and values, rather than treating them as an afterthought.
I Bring More Than
Textbook Knowledge
My understanding of resilience isn't only academic. My own life experiences have shaped the way I understand adversity, change, and the complexity of becoming who you are. I bring that perspective into the room alongside my clinical training.
What clients say
Real experiences from people I’ve had the privilege of supporting.
What Happens Next Can Be Different.
You may not be able to change what shaped you, but you can understand it, recognize the patterns it created, and choose how to respond moving forward.
-
You don’t need to be in crisis or have everything figured out. If something feels difficult, keeps repeating, or you simply want to understand yourself better, therapy can be a good place to start.
-
My approach is collaborative, curious, and practical. We’ll look at what’s happening now, explore what may be underneath it, and find strategies that actually make sense for you.
-
We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what’s been going on, and what you’d like to work toward. There’s nothing you need to prepare beforehand.
-
I work with anxiety, depression, stress, ADHD, OCD, relationships, men’s mental health, self esteem, life transitions, trauma, personal growth, and more complex mental health concerns.
-
It depends on what you’re looking for. Some people come for focused, short term support, while others want to explore deeper patterns over a longer period.
-
Individual sessions are $185 and couples sessions are $225. Many extended health plans cover psychotherapy, but it’s always best to check your specific plan.
-
That’s exactly what the free 15 minute consultation is for. We can talk briefly about what you’re looking for, you can ask questions, and we can see if working together feels like a good fit.
